The objective of this brief was to choose an organization that is struggling with their image and create a campaign event that would change public perception. I decided to dig into Pinterest's untapped male demographic by creating the Collection Convention. The idea here is to put on an expo of the coolest collections from around the world in order to create excitement about Pinterest's main function: a collection service. The event would help Pinterest gain momentum in their quest to increase male users by showcasing everything from cars to guitars. For the visual language, I decided to use exclamation points to represent the exciting collections on display at the event. Moreover, the different colors and shapes of each exclamation point reference the idea of collection itself: a wide mixture of items, all brought together through one common theme.
